1. Dont freak out, dont panic

If your players see their coach freaking out, they will freak out. There goes your chance to win. Stay calm. Communicate clearly with your players. Encourage them and exude confidence. It will be reflected in your teams play.

2. Know your timeout situation

Use your timeouts wisely. Stop runs before they get started. A timely stoppage will allow you to communicate with your players and set them up to be succesful.

3. Execution

Your players minds will be racing heading into and during overtime. Calmly encourage them to remember their practice time and to execute. They know how to play good ball. Execute and do it!

4. Let your players have fun

Nerves are on edge. Tell them to go have fun! Don't let them be tight. Be upbeat in your team talks.
